Nancy is an RN who retired in 2011 after 34 years of nursing. The majority of her 24 years in the operating room were spent at St. Vincent Hospital where she was in charge of Neurosurgery. Loni SANDERS

Loni Sanders lives in Portland, but spends a lot of time on the Oregon Coast. She loves to paint landscapes and travel scenes when away from home. She was an art major in college, but for many years had little time for her art practice, further developing her desire to enrich her life with creativity and art making. Loni enjoys the process of experimenting with materials and often creatives from a process over product oriented perspective. She has recently started doing more teaching and workshops including helping out at the Cannon Beach Arts Camp in 2023.

She has shown her work in the Portland and Seattle area for about 25 years. She has participated in the Lake Oswego Festival of Arts for nearly 30 years and has been actively involved in the Tigard Art Walk for 5 years.

In addition to her art practice she enjoys surfing in Cannon Beach and traveling the world with her daughter.

Margie Norton

Margie is an artist with a degree in Fine Art and retired in 2021 from a career that began in advertising production and morphed into commercial printing sales. For all her career, the common motivating thread was working with art directors and designers. Moving to Cannon Beach full time with her husband in 2020 was the catalyst to return to painting and to become involved with CBAA. She is looking forward to serving the art community as a board member. Margie’s other interests revolve around knitting, her grandchildren, making new friends and exploring and appreciating this gorgeous place.

He, and his wife Georgia owned a successful art gallery in Newport Beach for 8 years. He now paints in oil, watercolor, and sumi-e. His works have been shown at OSA, CBAA, and Art Lofts Astoria.

Terri Neal

Terri Neal has lived throughout the US and finally settled in the beautiful Pacific Northwest. She always had a keen interest in animals and the natural world and received a biology degree at Hiram College in Ohio and her master’s at Arizona State University. Having loved to draw and create from an early age, Terri has explored many art mediums including pencils, fibers, ceramics, and metals. Pencils were her first love, and she combines them with watercolor and ink to create a realistic interpretation of her subjects. Her quest is to find the soul and whimsy in each of her animal subjects. She currently uses her work to promote art and conservation. She is thankful for this wonderful opportunity to support artists and art in the PNW coastal communities.
