Shoalwater Pottery

Shoalwater Pottery was founded in 2012 and has been selling pottery along the Pacific coast since that time. Kandice Caldwell and Aaron Van Ornum serve as the Co-Chief Mudslingers and owners. Aaron moved to the forests outside of Raymond, Washington, a bit over twenty years ago, where he found his place among the rain-misted Bay and verdant hills. Kandice migrated to the Willapa hills from Portland, Oregon, in 2017. Together, their driving aspiration has been to build a life closely connected to the land and in harmony with the seasons. They consider their pottery business to be core to the integrity of their lifestyle, dedicating themselves to producing high-quality, responsible, and desirable products. They believe in being positive contributors to their local community and the wider society, striving to be self-sustaining and collaborating with other businesses for the benefit of all.
