About CBAA Summer Art Camp
Summer art camp is an affordable, week-long art camp for children and adults. We offer classes taught by local artists including painting, basketry, and print making. The classes are an excellent opportunity for families to create together while spending time at the beach. What is unique and special about our art camp is our scholarship program, we offer scholarships to anyone who needs one. This means that we need support from individuals like you so that we can continue to offer this program to low-income families. This year, consider donating $65, which is enough to send one child to art camp for the entire week.
The CBAA was founded in 1986 by a group of local Cannon Beach citizens who wanted to ensure the arts were sustained in the community. Over the following three decades the nonprofit expanded to include art camp, workshops, events, and a gallery in midtown Cannon Beach. In the next 30 years we want to support the arts and artists in Cannon Beach by continuing our programs and expanding our reach to include artists and people from all parts of the North Coast. We hope that you grow with us so that the CBAA can be a part of the community for generations to come. Thank you so much for your support and I can’t wait to see what we accomplish together!
Thank you so much for spreading the word and for your support,
Meagan Sokol, Arts Education Director
