How to Exhibit at our Gallery
The Cannon Beach Gallery, which is a program of the nonprofit Cannon Beach Arts Association, exhibits fine art and fine craft in shows that change monthly. The Gallery is not a co-op and artists need not be members of the CBAA to participate at the Gallery. Our goal is to make the Gallery available to a wide range of artists from the professional to the hobbyist. There are two avenues for exhibiting at the Cannon Beach Gallery, juried shows and featured shows. Procedures are outlined below. The Cannon Beach Gallery takes a 40% commission on works sold through the Gallery.

Juried Shows
The Cannon Beach Gallery has three to five juried shows each year. A call for work card is sent out to a mailing list of artists. Any interested artist can be placed on the mailing list. Shows are always juried from actual exhibit ready work by a guest juror. Generally artists can submit three pieces in any medium. Work must be recent (within 2 years) and be for sale. Occasionally there is a theme for a juried show. Information specific to each show is included on the call for work card. Call 503-436-0744 or email the Gallery with your contact information (name, address, phone, e-mail) to have your name added to the mailing list.

Featured Exhibits
Artists are invited to be featured at the Gallery for solo, group and themed exhibits. A committee oversees the selection of artists to be featured. Any interested artist(s) can submit a proposal to be featured. A proposal should include at least 10 images (slides, photos or digital) of artwork, an artist's resume, a written description of what the artist is proposing for exhibit, and any other materials that may help the Gallery Committee make selections. Please include an SASE for return of materials. The Committee reviews artist's packets as they are received throughout the year.
