Linda Christensen is an artist with a background in watercolor, woodcarving, fiber arts, and mixed media. She brings her varied skills and explorative art techniques now to the world of polymer clay.
Artist Linda Christensen has been honored in past years with acceptance into several international shows. Linda’s artwork has been featured in “100 Sacred Visions” in Payerbach, Austria. In 2003, her painting “Crops of People” was included in “Brave Destiny”, the largest showing of living surrealist artists in Brooklyn, NY. In fall of 2004, Linda’s painting “I Am Water” was sent to London, England for a “Water” exhibition. Linda’s painting “Taking Flight” was accepted into “The Inner Eye” European Touring exhibition. This art was exhibited in Italy, Germany and Spain in 2005. Linda’s acrylic painting “The Healing” was exhibited in the Magical Lakes and Enchanted Forests 2006 exhibition tour in Europe.
Linda has studied art in many workshops in the US and in Europe. Most recently, fully swept up in the energy of the solar eclipse, Linda delved into making polymer mosaic tiles while making eclipse themed art. “Watercolor is my main art medium, but this work required me to venture out into a mixed media world. The path of an artist is never uninteresting.”
