Internship

The Cannon Beach Arts Association is seeking a part-time marketing intern to implement multiple marketing projects between the months of October and March. There is a possibility of working remotely for but the successful candidate will work at least one day per week in our mid-town Cannon Beach Gallery. The position pays $12 per hour for 15 to 20 hours per week. The purpose of this internship is to provide work experience in social media and traditional marketing in the arts field. We will also provide training in grant writing and provide the opportunity to write at least one grant for a nonprofit. There is a possibility of extending the position with successful grant funding.

Cannon Beach Arts Association is accepting applications for our Internship Program. The internship will begin October 15 and run through the end of March of 2018 with the possibility of extending the position with additional grant funding. We are seeking an intern interested ... more

Contact the Program Director for more information at director at cannonbeacharts.org. Submit proposals for artist in residency by January 15, 2017. Award date is January 20, 2017. Award amounts vary and are dependent upon grant funding. For more information contact the Director or visit  http://cannonbeacharts.org/info-for-artists 

The Artist Grant Application for 2018 is now open. There are two grants being offered. The CBAA will award an artist living full time in Clatsop or Tillamook County a stipend to create art within the Gallery space. The artist will work at least once per week in a fine arts Galler ... more

2017 Scholarship

The Cannon Beach Arts Association is pleased to announce our 2017 scholarship opportunity. Our Seaside High School scholarship is open to students who have taken more than one art class at the high school level, have shown a strong interest in the arts, and submit a portfolio and statement of interest to the CBAA by May 31, either directly or through a school counselor. Award amounts vary annually based upon budget and number of applicants.

The 2017 High School Scholarships have been awarded! This year we are offering scholarships to two individuals; Kara Ipson and Hayley Rollins. Kara Ipson is a senior and recipient of CBAA scholarship. She plans on attending University of Oregon and majoring in graphic design a ... more

The Cannon Beach Arts Association is pleased to announce the call for our Miniature Show. There is no theme for the show, but all work is required to be less than 36 inches square (6” X 6” or variation thereof). Artists may submit no more than (3) three pieces. All media is accepted. All work must be ready to hang or display with labels attached.
